You will be presented with a scenario that describes a realistic workplace and situation. You will then be asked to carry out a series of tasks using evidence presented in the scenario as well as the underpinning knowledge you have gained through your studies and revision.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou will have 24 hours to complete and submit your paper - though you should be able to complete it in 4-5 hours.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eA practical fire risk assessment:\u003c\/strong\u003e the fire risk assessment has been developed around fire risk assessment standards such as the Home Office fire guidance and PAS79-1:2020.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe time needed to complete the fire risk assessment is not restricted. We do, however, recommend that you take around three hours to complete all four parts of the assessment. We feel that the three hours will allow you to show your understanding of the assessment requirements and complete a good quality fire risk assessment.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBoth assessments will be marked by an external examiner appointed by NEBOSH. These examiners are chosen for their experience and expertise to ensure that learners are assessed by the very best from our industry.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eImportant note:\u003c\/strong\u003e This course is a standalone qualification. This means that you will not be able to use units from other NEBOSH qualifications against any part of this qualification.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eResults and Certification\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThose who successfully complete the course and pass the assessments are awarded the official NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll results for assessments should be received within 50 working days from the date of the examination or submission of the practical risk assessment. The specific date will be provided on examination entry confirmation forms.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCertificates will be posted direct to learners by us upon receipt from NEBOSH\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eEntry Requirements\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are no entry requirements for this qualification.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is important that learners have a suitable standard of English language in order to understand and articulate the concepts contained in the syllabus.
