The refresher course expects the same underpinning knowledge and understanding to be demonstrated by learners. It is aimed at graduates, site managers, site agents and site engineers wishing to become Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC). They will need to have a working knowledge of all associated legislation, specifically the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 in terms of its intentions and compliance. Learners must also have a thorough understanding of health and safety principles and understand the importance of risk management, design considerations, inspection and testing and recording and monitoring requirements.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLearners who have achieved a certificate approved against the Health and Safety in Construction Site Supervision standard (such as \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/citb-site-supervisor-safety-training-scheme-sssts\"\u003eSSSTS\u003c\/a\u003e or \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/citb-site-supervisor-safety-training-scheme-refresher-sssts-r\"\u003eSSSTS-R\u003c\/a\u003e) or the Health and Safety in Construction Site Management standard (such as \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/citb-site-management-safety-training-scheme-smsts\"\u003eSMSTS\u003c\/a\u003e or \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/citb-site-management-safety-training-scheme-refresher-smsts-r\"\u003eSMSTS-R\u003c\/a\u003e) will have gained the knowledge to meet these expectations.
