People are killed and injured in confined spaces every year: these are partly or fully enclosed areas, with a small entrance large enough to work in, where cramped conditions bring specified risks such as fire or explosion, gas, fumes or lack of oxygen, rising liquids, free-flowing solids and rising body temperature.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe course covers the law, the hazards and risks, and the practical use of escape apparatus and safe access and exit, with guidance on meeting the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997.
