{"product_id":"cpcs-a17c-telescopic-handler-excluding-slew-experienced-course-farnham-surrey","title":"CPCS A17C Telescopic Handler – Excluding SLEW (Experienced) in Farnham, Surrey (Classroom)","description":"\u003ch2\u003eCPCS A17C Telescopic Handler – Excluding SLEW (Experienced) Course in Farnham, Surrey\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis A17C Telescopic Handler training course (Telehandler training) is for experienced Operators who want to take a CPCS test to gain their Red Trained Operator Card.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eCourse Delivery\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis course is delivered in Farnham, Surrey, GU10 5DD\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eCourse Duration\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e2 days\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eCourse Content\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRoles and responsibilities.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRegulations and legislation.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eUndertake all pre-use inspection checks.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTravel over rough, undulating ground, steep inclines and level surfaces – loaded and unloaded.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eManoeuvre the Telescopic Handler in confined spaces with or without load.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eActions required for hazards, underground and overhead services.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eLift and remove various loads up to full extension and working height of the Telehandler.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTransfer and place loads accurately at given locations.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eShut down procedures.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eTesting and Further Courses\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTheory Test – a verbal test with one to one questions with the tester.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePractical Test – a test including:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePre-start and running checks.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTravel in a loaded and unloaded state.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePrepare and set the Telehandler for each lift.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDeposit a load onto the loading out tower.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRetrieve loads, lower to ground and place at given destinations.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePark the Telehandler.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCarry out the shutdown and securing procedures.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou will need to undertake a Health \u0026amp; Safety test within 2 years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNext step – CPCS blue competence card and NVQ Level 2.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eRequirements\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA good level of written and spoken English is required to successfully complete this course.
