Successful completion allows delegates to undertake non-licensed asbestos work in accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and the associated codes of practice.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTraining is in accordance with Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, the Approved Code of Practice and guidance (L143), and Equipment and Method Sheet EM2 of Asbestos Essentials: a task manual for building, maintenance and allied trades on non-licensed asbestos work (HSG210).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eWho Should Attend This Course?\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnyone who, in the course of their work, may be called upon to plan the works, interact with or remove ACMs that fall into the non-licensable categories. For example:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCarrying out decontamination procedures as detailed in EM8\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTrying out RPE to ensure a good face fit, and knowing how to carry out maintenance checks\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eUse of wetting techniques and H-type vacuums\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eBagging of waste\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eCertification\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach learner individually completes a timed, invigilated, closed-book written examination at the end of the course. The pass mark is 80%.
