It provides the skills needed to refresh certification in order to operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently, carry out a pre-use inspection and recall, and explain the causes of truck and load instability.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis course is available for operators with documentary evidence of formal training who wish to renew their certification to use a counterbalance forklift truck. It includes theory instruction and assessment followed by practical operator training and assessment, complying with the standard laid down in the HSE Code of Practice L117. The certification does not need to be in date to qualify for this course, and does not necessarily have to be a previous RTITB qualification.
