Classroom/Practical Based PASMA Towers for Users Training in Brentwood
Learn how to safely assemble, dismantle, move and alter a mobile access tower without risk of personal injury to either yourself or others.
The course will instruct how to safely assemble, dismantle, relocate and alter a mobile access tower without risk of personal injury to yourself or others. It also incorporates the current best practice for fall protection and inspection of completed mobile access towers.
A course content and notes booklet and a current Code of Practice booklet will be issued to all delegates who attend the course.

Who Should Attend
Anyone who operates a mobile elevating work platform requires a PAL card and this must be renewed every 5 years. Over 90,000 MEWP operators are trained every year worldwide through IPAF’s network of approved training centres, of which GT Access is one.

CITB Grant Funding
This course qualifies for Tier 2 CITB Grant funding of £140 (subject to change by the CITB). GTAccess is a CITB Approved Training Organisation (ATO) and as such our customers are able to claim grants when completing certain courses. The value of the grant is dependent on the duration and content of the course.
Certification
A PASMA Certificate and PhotoCard will be issued to successful delegates who complete the Theory and Assessment sessions at the level they attend the course which has a five year validity period.
Requirements
Since the safe use of mobile access towers requires that delegates read and thoroughly understand safety notices and manufacturer’s instruction manuals, literacy and language comprehension are important requirements for any tower user.
Similarly, since the assembly and use of mobile access towers can be physically demanding, users should be physically fit and in good health and should, generally, not have problems with eyesight or hearing, heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, fear of heights / vertigo, giddiness / difficulty with balance, impaired limb function, alcohol or drug dependence or psychiatric illness.

Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day on all courses at all of our training centres. Please note that lunch is not provided.
