This Abrasive Wheels course is delivered on-site at your premises in the UK for a group of employees. Alternatively, the course can be delivered remotely online using Zoom or MS Teams.

Course Aims

This Abrasive Wheels course aims to provide delegates with an awareness of the risks associated with the use of abrasive wheels and how they should be managed.

Objectives

By actively participating in this course delegates will be able to:

• Show a good level of understanding of the Regulations
• Demonstrate the correct mounting procedure of abrasive wheels to enable safe use at all times with due regard to health and safety
• Show an awareness of the hazards and risks involved in using bench mounted as well as hand-held grinding and cutting machines.
• Inspect tools, wheels and ancillary equipment to enable safe use at all times with due regard to health and safety.

For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.

For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.

To join online courses, delegates have to log in via a link provided through a computer or laptop with a camera, screen, microphone and access to the internet.
