How is the Course Assessed?
Students are assessed through a two-step assessment process:
- A Practical Risk Assessment. Students must apply the knowledge gained throughout the course to real workplace situations.
- A Multiple-choice test of 30 questions with 60 marks available. Students must achieve 36 out of 60 to pass.
Who Should Attend?
The IOSH Managing Safely course is ideal for anyone who hold responsibilities for others within the workplace. Such as First Line Supervisors, Managers, Team Leaders and Foremen for Managers and Supervisors in any sector, and organisation. No prior knowledge of health and safety is required for this IOSH course, but a good standard of English is recommended.

No, there are no prerequisites to taking this course.
Additional Fees Apply
- An additional delegate charge of £45.00 + VAT per student applies, this covers all fees for IOSH certifications, publications and course materials.
- Travel cost of 0.45p per Mile from S21 3WB postcode to your customers location and back
- For travel beyond 2 hours, instructor accommodation is required and will be costed at £150 + VAT per night. This may vary depending on whether you would like the course to be delivered as a day release or block.
