What is the ITIL® 4 Foundation Course?

This ITIL® 4 Foundation course is the starting point for people wanting ITIL qualifications. The new online ITIL 4 Foundation course will introduce you to service management key concepts, ITIL principles, the ITIL service value system (SVS), ITIL practices and their role in a service provider organisation.

ITIL®4 Foundation training course provides IT managers and practitioners with a practical understanding of the key concepts, principles, dimensions, and practices that enables successful IT Service Management provision. It also prepares delegates for the ITIL4 Foundation course exam. The course is based on the ITIL4 service value system.

Who is the ITIL®4 Foundation Course Suitable For?

This ITIL Foundation course is suitable for anyone working in IT services, or anyone who is considering a career in IT. It is also suitable for students who have studied COBIT 5 or ISO/IEC 20000, although this is not a requirement.

This ITIL course is for IT managers and practitioners involved in the strategy, design, and implementation and on-going delivery of business-used IT services and who require an insight into Service Management best practice.

Exam Details

The exam is included in the course fees.

  • 40 multiple choice questions.
  • 60-minute duration with a 65% pass mark.
  • Exam can be taken online with a web proctor (with PEOPLECERT).
  • Closed-book exam.
  • Students must have completed the ITIL Foundation course before requesting their exam voucher.

Prerequisites

There are no pre-requisites to attend this course.

The Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management is a pre-requisite for all
other ITIL-based courses.

The system should include the latest updates & service packs and have at least 1GB free hard disk space.

Whilst the learning application might work on smaller screens and devices that support HTML5 technologies, the learning application is best viewed on a desktop, laptop or a tablet.
