Live Virtual Training in Menopause Awareness and Support
PCR Global’s Menopause Support at Work course is a three and a half hour course aligned to BS 30416:2023 Menstruation, Menstrual Health and Menopause in the Workplace. It has been designed for anyone who wants to increase their awareness and understanding of menopause in the workplace.
The course provides practical guidance and insight to help create more supportive and inclusive working environments, covering the recognition of signs and symptoms, the workplace support options available, how to build confidence in having supportive conversations, ideas for supporting colleagues experiencing symptoms, the use of appropriate and inclusive language, and the key learning points from the British Standard.
Course Objectives
- An introduction to BS 30416:2023 — Menstruation, Menstrual Health and Menopause in the Workplace
- Considerations for organisations on menopause support strategies
- An awareness of what we can do if a colleague discloses that they are perimenopausal or postmenopausal
- Knowledge that it is OK to proactively provide information and support for menopause
