The SMSTS Refresher is a condensed version of the full 5-day course. We recommend that you book within 6 months prior to your certificate’s expiry date. This prevents you from missing out on taking the refresher course.

Course Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
This course is suitable for you if you have previously passed the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course, or a subsequent refresher course.
The course will be delivered in English. Delegates must be able to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
Assessment
Successful completion of the course requires the delegate to pass an exam paper at the end of the course.
The final exam consists of a combination of multiple choice questions and multi-response/ short written answer questions.The delegate will need to achieve 81% pass mark in the final exam in order to successfully complete the SMSTS course.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the course, delegates will continue to obtain the CITB SMSTS award which is valid for a further five years. Candidates are encouraged to retake another refresher course before the certificate’s expiry date.
