Who Should Attend

Designated first aiders in medium and higher-risk workplaces — construction, facilities management, manufacturing, education, hospitality and similar. It suits anyone responsible for health and safety, working in a large team, or meeting a company's legal obligations for first aid cover.

Lower-risk workplace? The one-day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course at this venue may be enough.

What You'll Learn

The course prepares you to assess, manage and treat a wide range of injuries and illnesses, starting with the roles and responsibilities of a workplace first aider. Content is aligned with RQF Level 3 requirements and HSE guidance. It goes materially further than the one-day EFAW course, with more advanced topics and more demanding practical scenarios.

Certification

A nationally recognised RQF Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification, regulated by Ofqual and awarded by Qualsafe. The course is designed in line with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.

Renewal

Renewed through the two-day First Aid at Work Requalification, which refreshes practical skills and brings you up to date with changes to first aid practice and Resuscitation Council guidance. Compare FAWR dates and venues.

Good to Know
