Course Overview
The course is ideal as part of an induction package for new employees, and also as a foundation for employees who will go on to attend specialised, in-depth courses relevant to their role.
At the end of the course learners must pass the IOSH Working Safely multiple-choice assessment which includes hazard spotting exercises. On successful completion of the course participants will receive an IOSH Working Safely Certificate.

Course Content
- Understand responsibilities for workplace health and safety and apply knowledge in practice;
- Improve the safety performance of an organisation by recognising hazards and risks and knowing what to do;
- Report accidents and incidents by following the correct procedures; Help find solutions to prevent the recurrence of an incident;
- Appreciate the importance of safe behaviours and a positive health and safety culture;
