The CAT and Genny – Cable Avoidance course, delivered by Acadame’s industry experts across the UK, equips operatives and supervisors with the essential knowledge to carry out cable avoidance operations and locate underground services safely and efficiently.

Detecting underground utilities such as electricity and gas during excavation is crucial not only for the safety of workers but also to prevent costly delays and disruptions in construction and civil engineering projects.

It is essential that anyone working on roadworks, whether as an operative or a supervisor, is fully trained in the use of a Cable Avoidance Tool (CAT) alongside a signal generator (Genny).
