This CITB SMSTS Refresher course is for you if you have previously passed the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course, or a subsequent refresher course.
At the End of the Course You Will Be Able to:
- implement all updated health, safety, welfare and environmental legislation which affects your management role
- implement new guidance and industry best practice
- fulfil your duties and responsibilities with regards to health, safety, welfare and the environment

Assessment & Certification
You will undergo a short theory test at the end of the course. On successful completion of the course, you will receive a CITB industry recognised certificate which is valid for 5 years.
Please note to remain certified in this area, a SMSTS Refresher (SMSTS-R) course must be undertaken before the 5 year certification expires or a full course will need to completed again.
Prerequisites
You must hold an existing/valid Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificate.

For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.
