Fire Warden Training Delivered in Canning Town, London

Our Fire Warden course, also known as a Fire Marshal course, teaches you how to identify fire hazards, reduce fire risks and respond effectively during a workplace fire emergency. It gives you the knowledge to act as a responsible person on site, lowering the risk of fire and improving fire safety across the workplace.

Why Take This Course?

The course is essential for employees who carry responsibility for fire safety and emergency procedures at work. You will learn how to carry out your fire warden duties within the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

How many wardens you need depends on the size of your premises and on having enough cover when someone is absent. HSE fire safety guidance suggests roughly one trained fire warden for every fifty employees in a low-risk workplace, one for every twenty in a medium-risk workplace, and one for every fifteen where risk is higher.

There are no formal entry requirements. We do ask that you have a good level of spoken and written English. The course suits anyone appointed as a fire warden or fire marshal, and anyone responsible for fire safety and emergency procedures at work.
