Comprehensive Workplace First Aid Over Three Days

Course Overview

First Aid at Work is comprehensive workplace first aid training. It covers all the emergency first aid skills of the one-day course and goes further, preparing first aiders to deal with a wider range of injuries and medical conditions.

Who Should Attend?

Anyone nominated as a workplace first aider where the first aid needs assessment calls for full First Aid at Work cover – typically higher-risk workplaces such as construction sites, or larger workforces.

• Medical conditions and emergencies

Course Duration

3 days. Attendance is required on all three days.

Assessment / Examination

Assessment is included in the course.

Delivery Method

Delivered in a classroom at the training centre at The Granary, Minerva Centre, Burnham Road, Mundon, Maldon, Essex, CM9 6NP. Blended delivery is also available, subject to course requirements.

Certification

An FAA qualification is issued on successful completion. Learner materials, registration, standard assessment and certification are all included.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I book FAW or EFAW?

Your first aid needs assessment decides. EFAW is a one-day course for lower-risk workplaces; FAW is the three-day course for higher-risk or larger workplaces.

My First Aid at Work certificate is about to expire – do I need the full course?

Eligible existing first aiders can usually take the shorter two-day First Aid at Work Requalification course instead.
