IOSH Managing Safely – classroom or live remote
The three-day
IOSH Managing Safely course is a practical programme for managers, supervisors and team leaders, covering risk assessment, controlling risks, health and safety responsibilities, identifying hazards, investigating incidents and measuring performance. It runs in the classroom at Swinderby and live remote, taught in real time by a tutor, and includes learner materials, assessment and the IOSH certificate on successful completion. Workplace first aid – FAW and EFAW
The one-day
Emergency First Aid at Work course runs on Saturdays in both Maldon and Swinderby, covering casualty assessment, the unconscious casualty, CPR and AED use, choking, bleeding and shock. The three-day
First Aid at Work course runs at Maldon and adds a wider range of injuries and medical conditions for higher-risk workplaces. Both lead to an FAA qualification on successful completion.
Paediatric First Aid – two-day weekend course
The two-day
Paediatric First Aid course runs over a Saturday and Sunday at Maldon. It covers CPR, choking, injuries and medical emergencies in infants and children, suits childcare professionals and anyone responsible for caring for children, and leads to an FAA qualification.
Level 2 Fire Safety

Your first aid needs assessment decides. Emergency First Aid at Work is a one-day course that suits lower-risk workplaces such as offices and shops. First Aid at Work is the three-day course for higher-risk workplaces – construction sites, workshops and warehouses – or larger workforces, and covers a wider range of injuries and illnesses.
