Course Overview

Paediatric First Aid is two-day training in first aid for infants and children. It covers how to respond when a baby or child stops breathing, is choking, is injured or becomes suddenly unwell, with hands-on practice throughout.

Certification

An FAA qualification is issued on successful completion. Learner materials, registration, standard assessment and certification are all included.

Is this the full two-day paediatric course?

Yes. It runs over two full days, rather than the shorter one-day emergency paediatric course.

Running across a Saturday and Sunday means childcare staff can qualify without closing a setting or arranging cover during the working week.
