What is the NDTG CCDO Demolition Refurbishment Operative Course?
A one-day course from an NDTG-approved training centre that qualifies individuals in the demolition of non-load-bearing structures, the removal of fixtures and fittings and the use of mechanical hand tools. Demolition Refurbishment Operatives are also able to segregate materials for recycling. Passing the course allows candidates to apply for the red CCDO Demolition Refurbishment Operative card. The NDTG is the only organisation able to issue CCDO cards.
Who is the Demolition Refurbishment Operative Course Suitable For?
Demolition professionals with at least two years' experience as a Demolition Labourer (green CCDO Labourer card). Candidates must also hold a valid Demolition Specialist or above Health, Safety and Environment test pass and a current approved NDTG or UKATA Asbestos Awareness certificate – e-learning asbestos certificates are not accepted.

Delivery Method
Classroom at the provider's training centre at Kingsley Place, Mote Road, Maidstone, Kent. Saturday courses start at 7.30am and weekday courses at 8.30am.

Certification
Successful candidates receive an NDTG certificate and can apply for the red CCDO Demolition and Refurbishment Operative card, which is valid for three years and non-renewable. Within those three years candidates need to pass the NVQ Level 2 in Demolition to move to the five-year, renewable blue card, which is itself renewed by retaking this one-day course.
