UKATA Asbestos Awareness Training in Bristol

Course Overview

Asbestos awareness is essential for those workers who could potentially come into contact with asbestos during their employment, no matter the sector or the specific job role.

This half day course covers what asbestos is, the main kinds of asbestos encountered in the UK, how asbestos can cause harm, factors that affect the chances of harm being caused, examples of where asbestos is found in the UK, how to reduce exposure risks, and what to do in an emergency.

Upon completion, candidates will receive a UKATA certificate, with a one year accreditation. To remain certified in this area, you will need to retake the course before the expiry date.

This course has no pre-requisites. Please bring a form of photo identification on the day of your training course. Please also inform the Greenlight team of any allergies/preferences, as lunch will be provided.
