Advanced Usability & Accessibility
Design experiences that work for everyone, not just the average user.
Delivery Method
Online, mentor-led, four weeks
What You'll Learn
Usability evaluation methods, universal and inclusive design principles, integrating accessibility into normal design work rather than bolting it on, and advocating for it internally.
Great For
Practising designers, product owners and anyone whose organisation has accessibility obligations.
Course Overview
Accessibility is increasingly a legal requirement rather than a nice-to-have, and retrofitting it is far more expensive than designing for it. This four-week course covers both the standards and the practical design decisions that satisfy them.
The advocacy element matters as much as the technique — most accessibility failures are organisational rather than technical, and the course addresses how to make the case internally.
Tuition
Tuition is quoted and charged in US dollars by the provider, with a discount for bundling multiple advanced courses. Prices shown here are correct at the time of listing and change through the year — take current pricing from the Designlab website.

Related Courses
Designlab teaches UX, UI and product design entirely online, built around one-to-one mentorship with a working designer rather than video lectures alone. The range runs from four-week short courses in a single tool or skill through to UX Academy, a full career-change bootcamp ending in a portfolio of case-study projects. In recent years the catalogue has shifted markedly toward AI, with courses covering AI-assisted research, prototyping and product design alongside the traditional craft subjects.
For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.
