Our CITB Health and Safety Awareness (HSA) with CSCS Test package combines the one-day HSA course with the CITB Health, Safety and Environment operatives test, giving you both requirements for the CSCS Green Labourer Card in a single booking.
Who Should Attend
This package is designed for new starters, labourers and anyone moving into construction who needs a CSCS Green Labourer Card. There are no formal entry requirements.

Certification
Successful delegates receive a CITB Health and Safety Awareness certificate, valid for five years. With the operatives test included in this package, you will have both elements needed to apply for the CSCS Green Labourer Card. We support our HSA delegates through the CSCS application process.
Delivery Method
Classroom delivery at our training centre: The Acorn Centre, 29 Roebuck Road, Hainault, Essex, IG6 3TU. Course runs 9:00am to 4:30pm. We also offer in-house delivery at your own premises for group bookings.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between this and the HSA course on its own?
This package includes the CITB Health, Safety and Environment operatives test alongside the course. The standalone HSA course does not.
Do I get the CSCS card on the day?
No. Completing the course and passing the test gives you both requirements to apply. The card itself is issued by CSCS following your application, and we will help you with that.
How long is the certificate valid?
Five years from the date of successful completion.
Do I need any experience before attending?
No. The course is written for people with no prior construction health and safety training.
For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.
For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.

We deliver the full CITB Site Safety Plus suite, including SMSTS, SSSTS, their refreshers, and Health & Safety Awareness, alongside IOSH Managing Safely, first aid and mental health training. Our trainers come from strong construction and site management backgrounds, and we keep our classrooms engaging rather than relying on slides.
We also offer in-house delivery at your own premises for organisations training several people at once, and we support Health & Safety Awareness delegates with their CSCS card applications.
