CITB SSSTS Course Delivered Online by Instructor

This is a 2 day course delivered by an approved trainer. The course is delivered on Zoom video conferencing software - you can join on any mobile device or computer.

Courses start at 8.30am and finish at 4pm each day.

After purchasing your course, you will be able to login to your account and view everything you need to know for the course.

Upon completing the course you will receive your official CITB SSSTS Certificate which is valid for 5 years.

Course Highlights

2. your supervisory responsibilities in controlling site safely

4. effective site inductions, toolbox talks and method statement briefings
5. monitoring site activities effectively

Course Structure

The course programme is as follows:

1. The Health and Safety at Work Act and HSE regulations.
2. Control measures and risk assessments.
3. Legal responsibilities of site supervisors.
4. Specific site issues that challenge supervisors daily.
5. Effective toolbox talks (a short presentation on a specific area of health and safety, presented by the candidates).
6. Supervision of occupational health.
7. Behavioural safety.

Results

You will find out immediately if you have passed.

Certificate

You will receive your certificate within 7-10 days from the CITB.

Required Pass Mark

You need 80% to pass your multiple choice test.

Exam Resit

You have 90 days to resit your exam as long as you score over 70% on your test.

Delegates Requirements

1. Hold or be about to hold the role of Supervisor.
2. Must be competent in English at Site Supervisor Level.
3. Provide valid photo ID to verify identification.

Additional Information

• Computers or Laptops with a camera are the best choice.
• If your computer does not have a webcam, you can also use your mobile.
• If joining with a mobile device, you will need a 2nd device for the multiple choice test - 1 device for the test and the other to be the camera.

For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.

For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.

To join online courses, delegates have to log in via a link provided through a computer or laptop with a camera, screen, microphone and access to the internet.

E-learning and Online (Instructor-led) training is more flexible, efficient, and cost-effective.

Short online courses also help employers to demonstrate that they have fulfilled their legal duties to ensure their personnel have been adequately trained.

Once the courses have been completed, a confirmation of results can be saved or printed as evidence. This can then be kept on record as evidence of suitable training.

Step 1

Step 2

Once you have paid for your course(s), you will receive an email from our team advising how to begin your training.

Step 3

You will be provided with a username and password which will enable you to access the e-learning portal. Login to start your course, once you have completed and passed the course, you will be able to download and print your certificate straight away.
