A one-day CITB course on supervising temporary works, covering TWS duties, the 4Cs, and key safety responsibilities.
Course Overview
This one‑day CITB-accredited training course is designed for individuals who currently supervise, or are preparing to supervise, temporary works on construction sites in accordance with BS 5975. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of the duties of a Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS), the 4Cs (Communication, Coordination, Co-operation & Competency), and the foundations of managing risk and legal responsibilities in line with Site Safety Plus standards.

The TWSTC Course is carried out over 1 day, and contains 5 modules:
Module 1 – What are temporary works?
Module 2 – The history of temporary works
Module 3 – Who is involved with temporary works?
Module 4 – Planning temporary works
Module 5 – Managing construction, erection and dismantling of temporary works

Prerequisites
Delegates should have a basic understanding of temporary works and health and safety in construction.
