Course Content
- The role of the first aider
- Health and safety (first aid)regulations
- How to manage an emergency
- Communication and casualty care and how to deal with an unresponsive casualty
- We will cover resuscitation (CPR), Seizures, Bleeding, Shock, Burns and Choking
- How to use a Defibrillator including pad placement, prompts and how to respond
Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for delegates who wish to receive training in emergency first aid and is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments.
