Successful delegates will receive the FAA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work certificate.

Learning Outcomes
This First Aid at Work course is the FAA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work. This is the qualification that should be held by First Aiders in the workplace, covering:

- The role of the First Aider
- Actions in an emergency
- Breathing & circulation
- Airway obstruction
- Resuscitation
- Treatment of bleeding
- Dressings & bandages
- Treatment of shock
- Defibrillation techniques
Completion of the course delegates will take a written test and complete a practical assessment. Course Structure
The First Aid at Work course is completed over a 3 day period, and throughout the day your trainer will deliver a set lesson plan and course material.
There will be continuous observation on the practical exercises throughout the day, and in some cases there may be some small written tasks to be completed.
Entry Requirements
Please bring in-date and valid Photo ID to your course, this is required for your registration.
All learners need a basic command of the English Language, this does not mean English must be your first language but you must be able to understand and communicate with the trainer regarding the topics and instructions being discussed.
There are also practical elements to this course which include learners needing to get up and down from the floor in order to complete the practical exercises which are part of this course.
