This is the First Aid at Work Re-qualification (FAWR) for those who are currently qualified as a First Aider (FAW) and wish to continue as an approved First Aider for another 3 years.
This First Aid at Work Refresher course covers all aspects of basic life support along with a vast range of First Aid conditions.
This course provides learners with essential First-aid skills to confidently respond to emergencies in the workplace. This 2-day First Aid at Work Refresher course is designed for people who want to Re-qualify their 3-day First Aid at Work course.

This First Aid at Work Re-qualification course is designed to refresh the knowledge and skills needed to assess and stabilise a casualty until professional medical help arrives.
This 2-day First Aid Refresher course provides individuals with the practical skills required to deal with a comprehensive range of First Aid situations in the workplace, including:
- Principles of first aid
- The role of a first aider
- Actions in an emergency
- Breathing and circulation
- Airway obstructions
- Resuscitation
- Treatment of bleeding and shock
- Bandages and dressings
- Defibrillation techniques
Completion of the course delegates will take a written test and complete a practical assessment.

Learning Outcomes
This First Aid at Work course is the FAA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work. This is the qualification that should be held by First Aiders in the workplace, covering:

Course Structure
The course is completed over a 2 day period, and throughout the day your trainer will deliver a set lesson plan and course material. There will be continuous observation on the practical exercises throughout the day, and in some cases there may be some small written tasks to be completed.
Entry Requirements
You must have a valid in-date FAW certificate to awarded a FAW Re-qualification Certificate
Also, Please bring in-date and valid Photo ID to your course, this is required for your registration.
There are also practical elements to this course which include learners needing to get up and down from the floor in order to complete the practical exercises which are part of this course.
