Certification

How is the course delivered?
This is an online (instructor-led) course delivered via live video conference. Delegates need a computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera, microphone, screen, and a stable internet connection. Connection quality is the responsibility of the delegate.

Do I need to have operated a MEWP before?
No. This is a management-level course focused on planning and supervision, not hands-on operation.
How long is the course?
The course runs for one day, delivered online with a live instructor.
How long is the certificate valid?
The IPAF certificate is valid for five years from the date of completion.
What equipment do I need to attend?
A computer, laptop, or tablet with a working camera, microphone, and internet connection, plus video conferencing software as specified by Nationwide Platforms.
Is this the same as the operator course?
No. This course is for those who plan and manage MEWP work. Operators should take an IPAF operator course such as the 3a & 3b Operator training.
Will I receive joining instructions?
Yes. You will receive a confirmation email with your order details, and your course login details will follow within one business working day.
For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.
For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.
All you need to complete our e-learning courses is a computer, tablet or smartphone and an internet connection.
The course experience is optimised if using Microsoft Edge, IOS 9 onwards, and Google Chrome.
Please note: the course assessment will not run on Firefox.
