Rescue 3 – Swiftwater and Flood First Responder (SFR) in Exeter, Devon (Classroom)

Course Overview

A Rescue 3 course for people who will carry out rescues as a team in swiftwater and flood conditions. It is built on self-protection and on applying solutions that range from low to high risk, with a lot of practical time in the water.

Who Is It For?

Emergency services personnel, mountain rescue teams and other category 2 responders, as well as raft guides and coaches of moving-water activities such as kayaking. Delegates must be medically fit, aged 18 or over and confident swimmers.

Certification

Successful delegates receive a Rescue 3 certificate. Requalification is recommended every three years.
