The Safety Pass Alliance (SPA) is one of the UK’s leading safety passport awarding bodies. The SPA Petrol Retail Passport Renewal course is designed for existing cardholders who need to maintain a valid passport and demonstrate continued competence when working on petrol forecourts and fuel retail sites across the UK.
What does the Renewal course cover?
This refresher programme revisits key safety principles and updates delegates on current legislation, industry guidance and best practice. Topics include petrol forecourt hazards, ignition control, environmental risks, and safe systems of work relevant to fuel retail environments.
Who needs this Renewal passport?
This course is suitable for individuals who already hold a valid or recently expired SPA Core & Petrol Retail Passport and require renewal to continue working on fuel retail sites, including contractors, engineers and maintenance personnel.
Please note: To be eligible for the Renewal course, you must hold an existing SPA Core & Petrol Retail Passport. If your card has expired beyond the permitted renewal period, you may be required to attend the full 2 Day course. Contact us if you are unsure of your eligibility.
