The two-day CITB course is designed for those on site who are responsible for managing all forms of temporary works, and focuses on the process of coordinating them rather than general awareness. It covers the duties of a Temporary Works Coordinator, the roles of others, the use of BS 5975:2019, the 4Cs (communication, coordination, co-operation and competence) and risk management. The certificate is valid for five years, after which the one-day TWC Refresher can be taken.
