CITP covers the CITB range from two Berkshire venues at Reading and Thatcham, with temporary works, SEATS and IOSH delivered live online. The stand-out is a Health and Safety Awareness course that includes the touchscreen test and the card application itself — the complete route to a green CSCS card handled in one booking rather than three separate steps.
Health and Safety Awareness — with test and card
CITB Health and Safety Awareness runs at Reading and Thatcham, and at Reading there is a version including the touchscreen test and card application. That bundled option removes the two steps people most often stall on — booking the HS&E test separately, then submitting the card application afterwards.

CITB
Temporary Works Coordinator, the
Coordinator Refresher, and
Temporary Works Supervisor, all live online. Carrying the coordinator refresher as well as the full course is worth knowing — it is the shorter route for anyone whose certificate is still in date, and it disappears once it lapses. BS 5975 expects the coordinator role to be formally appointed on sites using falsework, propping or excavation support.

Why book the card application with the course?
A green CSCS labourer card needs three things: the Level 1 qualification, a pass in the CITB HS&E touchscreen test, and a submitted application. Handled separately, most people complete the course then delay the test and the paperwork, which holds up site access for weeks. Taking all three together is the difference between finishing the course and actually having the card.
Reading or Thatcham?
Reading carries the fuller range — SMSTS and its refresher run there only, as does the bundled green card option. Thatcham covers Health and Safety Awareness and SSSTS, and suits anyone coming from Newbury, Basingstoke or the western side of the county. Everything else in the catalogue is live online, so the venue question only applies to the CITB classroom courses.
