Davis Access

CITB, PASMA and Asbestos Training in Bristol

Davis Access covers the CITB range from Bristol alongside access training and a full UKATA asbestos progression — awareness, non-licensed work and the annual refresher that non-licensed work requires. Having all three asbestos levels at one centre is useful, since the refresher is a recurring obligation rather than a one-off.

Asbestos — the full progression
UKATA Asbestos Awareness for anyone whose work might disturb it, UKATA Non-licensed Asbestos Work for operatives actually carrying out Category B work, and the Non-licensed Asbestos Work Refresher. Non-licensed work training must be refreshed every twelve months to remain valid — that annual cycle is why having it locally matters.

Awareness or non-licensed work?
Asbestos Awareness is for people who might encounter asbestos — it teaches recognition and what to do on discovery, and permits no work with it at all. Non-licensed work training is for operatives who will actually disturb asbestos-containing materials, such as removing cement sheeting or textured coatings. If your people will be working on it rather than around it, awareness is not sufficient.
