Plant Fitter Qualifications

NVQ qualifications in Construction Plant or Machinery Maintenance recognise the competence of plant fitters and maintenance technicians, and lead to a CSCS card at the matching level. Level 2 covers routine servicing, inspection and repair. Level 3 extends into fault diagnosis and complex maintenance work and leads to the gold CSCS Advanced Craft card. Both are assessed in the workplace from evidence produced by your normal duties, whether you work in a yard, a workshop or on site.
