NEBOSH and IOSH Qualifications at 36 Centres, Online or by E-learning

Phoenix Health & Safety is a qualifications specialist, and the range runs from short awareness e-learning right up to the NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma. IOSH Managing Safely has the widest classroom footprint here — thirty-six venues from Aberdeen to Exeter — while the NEBOSH range covers eleven separate qualifications, most of them available three ways: classroom, live online with an instructor, or self-paced e-learning. The ISEP environmental range and a dozen workplace e-learning modules complete it.

IOSH refresher and Working Safely
The Managing Safely Refresher comes both as e-learning and live online — one day against the original three, and the route people miss when they default to re-sitting the full course. NEBOSH General Certificate — 12 centres, plus international
The NEBOSH General Certificate runs in the classroom at Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Heathrow, Leeds, Manchester Airport, Marble Arch, Milton Keynes, Newcastle, Nottingham and Southampton, plus e-learning. The International General Certificate comes by e-learning or live online, for people working where UK legislation does not apply.
NEBOSH construction and fire
Health and Safety Management for Construction at Bristol, Heathrow, Manchester Airport, Marble Arch, Southampton and West Bromwich, plus live online and e-learning, with an international version by e-learning. The Certificate in Fire Safety runs at Bristol, Manchester Airport, Marble Arch, Southampton and West Bromwich, plus both online routes — a fuller qualification than a fire marshal course, aimed at people carrying out or reviewing fire risk assessments.
NEBOSH Level 6 Diplomas
The Level 6 National Diploma by e-learning or live online, and the International Diploma by e-learning. This is the qualification supporting Graduate IOSH membership and the route to Chartered status — a year or more alongside a job, and a genuine step up in assessment demand from a certificate. Having the national diploma available live online rather than self-study only is worth noting, because completion rates are consistently better with a timetable.
NEBOSH HSE certificates and the AI qualification
The HSE Certificate in Health and Safety Leadership Excellence at West Bromwich, live online or by e-learning, and the HSE Certificate in Process Safety Management live online for high-hazard industries. Alongside them sits NEBOSH Verified Artificial Intelligence — Application in OSH, as e-learning. That last one is genuinely current: very few providers carry an AI-in-safety qualification at all yet.
Environmental — NEBOSH and ISEP (IEMA)
The NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate at Manchester Airport, Marble Arch and West Bromwich plus both online routes. The ISEP Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management runs at West Bromwich, live online and by e-learning, with Sustainability Skills at both manager and workforce level as e-learning. ISEP is the body formerly known as IEMA — same qualifications, renamed in July 2025.
Workplace e-learning modules
A dozen short awareness courses for rolling out across a workforce: Asbestos Awareness, COSHH, Display Screen Equipment, Fire Safety Awareness, Legionella, Manual Handling, Work at Height, Data Protection and GDPR, the Bribery Act 2010, Stress Awareness, Safe Driving, and general Health and Safety Awareness for Employees. There is also a Health and Safety Risk Review for businesses.
Choosing a study mode
Most qualifications here come three ways and the certificate is identical whichever you pick. Classroom suits people who want the cohort and a block away from work. Live online is instructor-led at set times — same structure, no travel. E-learning is self-paced, the most flexible and the one people most often fail to finish, so it works best with an internal deadline attached. For NEBOSH and ISEP qualifications, exams are booked and sat separately whichever mode you choose.
