Construction NVQ Diplomas from Level 2 to Level 6

These are portfolio qualifications assessed on evidence from your actual job, and they are the route to the CSCS cards that experience alone will not obtain.

Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Contracting Operations Management (General) — the management-level qualification and the route to a black CSCS manager card for people already running projects or contracts.
How does an NVQ work?
You build a portfolio evidencing what you already do — photographs, records, method statements, witness testimony from your employer — assessed against the qualification standards. There is no exam and no attendance requirement. It suits people already performing the role who need the qualification to prove it. It does not suit someone trying to learn the role from scratch.
Which level do I need?
It follows the CSCS card you are after and the job you actually do. Level 2 supports a blue skilled card. Level 3 fits supervisors and technical staff, supporting a gold card. Level 6 supports the black manager card. Applying for a level above your real responsibilities does not work — the portfolio has to evidence the role, and you cannot evidence what you do not do.
