Workplace and Paediatric First Aid Across Leeds, Wakefield and York
Train2 is a first aid specialist running the full range at three Yorkshire venues — Leeds, Wakefield and York — covering both workplace and paediatric qualifications at every level. Having the same courses at three locations makes it practical for organisations with sites across the county rather than one office.
Workplace first aid
Paediatric first aid
Emergency Paediatric First Aid and the full Paediatric First Aid qualification, both at all three venues. The full twelve-hour qualification is what the EYFS statutory framework requires for early years staff — the shorter emergency version supports it but does not satisfy the requirement alone.
EFAW or FAW?
Your first aid needs assessment decides it. EFAW is one day and covers the immediate life-saving essentials — appropriate for smaller, lower-hazard workplaces. FAW is three days and adds injury and illness management, suited to higher-risk work, larger headcounts, or sites further from emergency services. The Regulations require the assessment; they do not specify a number.
Keeping certificates current
Both FAW and paediatric qualifications last three years. FAW has a two-day requalification, which must be completed before expiry — miss it and you repeat the full three days. HSE also recommends annual refresher training between certificates, since first aid skills fade quickly without practice.
