CCNSG Safety Passport and its renewal at Hull. The passport is the standard entry requirement for engineering-construction sites — refineries, chemical works, power generation and major maintenance shutdowns. It lasts three years, and the renewal must be completed before expiry or you sit the full course again.

They cover different sites. CSCS, underpinned by the CITB HS&E test, covers general construction. CCNSG covers engineering-construction — the process and energy plant that dominates the Humber bank at Immingham, Saltend and Killingholme. Contractors working across both routinely hold each, and one will not substitute for the other.
