This is a 1 day course delivered Live Online by an approved trainer who guides through this CSCS course.

• Courses start at 8.30am and finish at 4pm
• This CSCS courses is delivered on zoom, Marble will provide all the links you need. However, you will need a Laptop or Desktop Computer with a Webcam
• Mobiles and Tablets can be used to take the course, however, PLEASE NOTE: they are not permitted to take the Examination
• With the Zoom link Marble Send for CSCS course, you will be able to login prior to the course to check your link

CSCS Green Card Application

• This CSCS Green Card course certificate can be used to apply for your CSCS Labourer's Card, otherwise known as the CSCS Green Card.

Course Structure

Marble Training will provide you with revision and self-study material for you to review prior to the course.

Trainer Session:

1. The Level 1 CSCS course is completed over a 1 day period.
2. Tutor-led Trainer Presentation:
3. Quiz for each topic to check your progress
4. Revision / Q&A session
5. Multiple Choice Test

Please note, there is a recommended course duration of 21 guided learning hours.

However, experience and prior learning can be taken into account.

We provide additional support materials for those learners who are new to the sector or who additional learning is required.

Results

• Exam Results come through within 3 hours

Certificate:

• It can take the awarding body generally between 3 to 10 days to produce the certificate.
• However, current turn-around time for certificates is between 5 to 7 working days.
• When your certificate is received it will uploaded to your account on our Marble website and an email will advise you it is there.

Exam Resit:

There will be various options for resits depending on your examination score and the tutor review.

Required Pass Mark:

• You need 80% or above to pass your multiple choice test.

Entry Requirements

All learners must have valid and in-date photo ID.

• Passport (UK or international)
• Photographic card Driving Licence (UK or European)
• UK Resident Permit card

The Following are also acceptable as ID in addition to a Credit or Debit Card:

• Non-UK Non-EU Photographic card Driving Licence
• Passport without signature
• Citizen Card with hologram
• CSCS or CSCS Partner Card with CSCS Hologram 
• UK Armed forces ID card

Course/ Examination Requirement

5. For the Course and examination elements you will need a computer with a webcam and microphone

Please Note

• You can use any device to take the course, Smart Phone, Tablet, Chromebook etc
• However, you will need a Laptop or Computer to take the test, please see specification & restrictions below

Computer Specifications

Laptops & Computers must be running suitable Windows, MacOS, (Apple) or Android Operating system

• Windows PC – Windows 10 or above
• Apple Mac – macOS 11.6.5 or above 
• Have a minimum. of 150MB free storage to load proctors examination application (App)
• Internet speed of at least 3 Mbps for both upload and download speed, to check your WIFI speed type this into your browser https://www.speedtest.net
• A working webcam, speakers and microphone

For the final test, if you don't have your own Laptop or Computer, you could always ask a friend.

Devices that cannot be used:

• Mobile phones
• iPads/Tablets
• Notebook/Chromebook/IdeaPad
• Computers in ‘S’ mode

Factors that could restrict the  application from working correctly

• Mobile Hotspots
• Security settings within the WIFI (TalkTalk usually block screen sharing, which is how we invigilate the examination)
• High-security anti-virus software that blocks the examination app from working, but, we can help you to temporarily stop these, we have an IT support section to help you on the day if you have difficulties, we can even come on to your machine remotely and help if your need us
• Work Computers provided may not allow 3rd party applications, like the examination application to run/be downloaded to the device. Check with your IT department

For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.

For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.

E-learning and Online (Instructor-led) training is more flexible, efficient, and cost-effective.

Short online courses also help employers to demonstrate that they have fulfilled their legal duties to ensure their personnel have been adequately trained.

Once the courses have been completed, a confirmation of results can be saved or printed as evidence. This can then be kept on record as evidence of suitable training.
