CITB Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme Delivered Online

This CITB Site Environmental Awareness Training (SEATS) course provides delegates with an introduction to environmental issues on construction sites. The SEATS course is aimed at those considering, or already, working within the construction and civil engineering industry.

NOTE: Delegates must be competent in English at supervisor level in order to complete this course.

Course Background

Environmental issues are becoming increasingly important to businesses of all sizes. This course aims to provide delegates with an introduction to environmental issues on construction sites.

It is designed to meet the basic environmental knowledge that the subcontract chain is required to prove to major contractors, covers the environmental impacts of work and identifies environmental improvement opportunities.

Assessment and Certification

Assessment will be by multiple-choice questions at the end of the course. Delegates will also be expected to actively take part during the course. Successful delegates will be awarded with a CITB certificate which is valid for five years.

Short online courses also help employers to demonstrate that they have fulfilled their legal duties to ensure their personnel have been adequately trained.

Once the courses have been completed, a confirmation of results can be saved or printed as evidence. This can then be kept on record as evidence of suitable training.
