Current legislation, regulations and guidance, the duties of employers and employees, ladder and stepladder types including leaning, combination, multi-hinged and telescopic, the site-task-equipment-people assessment, pre-use checks, and safe carrying, setting up and working practices.

Who it is for

Anyone who regularly uses ladders or stepladders as part of their work. Delegates should be fit and capable of lifting, carrying and manoeuvring ladders.

Certification

Successful delegates receive a Ladder Association certificate and LadderCard, valid for five years.

For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.

For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.

All you need to complete our e-learning courses is a computer, tablet or smartphone and an internet connection.
