Working safely is in the interest and concern of all staff, both employers and employees. Health and safety is one of the few areas where the law places specific duties on employees, so knowing where this applies and how to ensure it is adhered to is vital to protect individuals and businesses.
This online e-learning course takes you through ten topics that are vital in keeping yourself and your colleagues safe in a commercial catering environment. It works through areas including first aid, burns and scalds, illness protocol and equipment safety, ensuring you are fully aware of the dangers and risks posed by working in these environments. It also covers important information on the safe use of chemicals and cleaning procedures.
