Course Outline

This Manual Handling course provides people with the knowledge to contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances in their workplace by introducing candidates to the inherent risks in substances and the controls available. Course contents include:

• identification of hazards associated with substances
  
• understanding of risks and controls available to deal with substances
  
• what to expect from a COSHH assessment
