FAQs
What is the difference between a site manager and a senior site manager?
The difference between the two can be explained as the Level 7 being geared towards those in senior management roles, such as Managing Directors or those in senior management with sign off capabilities while the Level 6 construction site management is more suited to those in a hands on site management role. Site managers would be managing construction sites or assisting those who do so, with all of the demands that that role entails. Senior site management, on the other hand, could include those who are currently managing construction projects at an advanced level, including project managers, and senior surveyors. You could also be overseeing operations over multiple sites.
If you fall into the latter, the Level 7 NVQ in Senior Site Management could be perfect for you.
Where can this level 7 NVQ lead?
When you complete a Level 7 NVQ, you can look forward to an increase in your earning potential, allowing you to tender for more lucrative contracts. The qualification is recognised as equivalent to a master’s degree in construction management, which will help you to stand out from the crowd.
