What is CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme?
The CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) is a training program in the United Kingdom designed for construction site supervisors. The scheme aims to provide individuals in supervisory roles within the construction industry with the necessary knowledge and skills to promote a safe working environment.
To achieve a broad understanding of construction site health and safety matters, book a place on our CITB SSSTS course online. This training programme is known as the industry standard for any employees who work in a supervisory position on Build UK sites; it is approved and endorsed by the United Kingdom Contractors Group and is an absolute must for any construction professionals who are responsible for their own set of workers.
Who is the CITB SSSTS Course Suitable for?
The SSSTS course is suitable for existing supervisors, or those who have just been granted a supervisory role. Individuals will benefit from the engaging content that is supplied during the course. Delegates will learn all about the latest health and safety procedures, be brought up to date with current legislation, and will cover topics such as today’s environmental issues and employers’ legal responsibilities.
Regardless of their current knowledge, candidates will leave the SSSTS course with an invaluable in-depth understanding of the challenges associated with running a construction site and how they can work together with their employees to identify hazards and minimise risks.
