Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme, Live Online

The CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) is aimed at those with supervisory roles in the building, construction and civil engineering industries, and is endorsed by Build UK as the standard training for supervisors on their sites. This course is delivered live online by an instructor over two days.

Supervisors, first-line managers and those preparing to take on a supervisory role in construction.

Course Content

• Health and safety law and how it applies to supervisors
• Your supervisory responsibilities in controlling the site safely
• Risk assessments and method statements
• Site inductions, toolbox talks and method statement briefings
• Monitoring site activities and timely intervention when bad practice is identified
• Occupational health, COSHH, work at height and manual handling

Certification

Successful delegates receive the CITB SSSTS certificate, valid for 5 years and renewable with the SSSTS Refresher.

Once the courses have been completed, a confirmation of results can be saved or printed as evidence. This can then be kept on record as evidence of suitable training.
