Paediatric First Aid & Defibrillator (AED) in Doncaster, South Yorkshire (Blended)

The Blended Paediatric First Aid course combines online eLearning with a practical in-centre day at ER Training's Doncaster centre. It meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and is ideal for those working with infants and children.

What you'll cover

• Assessing a paediatric emergency
• Infant and child CPR and use of an AED
• Choking in babies and children
• Managing an unresponsive child or infant
• Common childhood illnesses and injuries

Who it's for

Nursery staff, childminders, teachers, nannies and anyone responsible for the wellbeing of children, particularly those needing to meet EYFS requirements.

Assessment & certification

Online module completed before the practical day, followed by continuous practical assessment. Delegates receive a Paediatric First Aid certificate valid for three years.

Delivery

Blended: online eLearning followed by a one-day practical session at ER Training's Doncaster training centre.

What does blended delivery mean? You complete the theory online in your own time, then attend one practical day in the centre.

Does this meet EYFS requirements? Yes.

Is VAT included? Prices are shown excluding VAT; VAT is added at checkout.

For short online courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.

For accredited and all other courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body or Emergency Response Training.
