Closed book course with a pass mark of 80%.

Supporting Documents
A course content and notes booklet and a current Code of Practice booklet will be issued to all delegates who attend the course.
Award
A PASMA certificate and PhotoCard will be issued to successful delegates who complete the theory and assessment sessions at the level they attend the course which has a five year validity period.

Since the safe use of mobile towers requires that you consult safety notices and read and thoroughly understand the manufacture’s instruction manual, literacy and language comprehension are important requirements for any tower user. Similarly, since the assembly and use of mobile access towers can be physically demanding, users should be physically fit and in good health and should, generally, not have problems with eyesight or hearing, heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, fear of heights / vertigo, giddiness / difficulty with balance, impaired limb function, alcohol or drug dependence or psychiatric illness.
If delegates have any problems with literacy or language comprehension, or have any If delegates have any problems with literacy or language comprehension, or have any attention of their employer. This need not preclude them from using mobile access towers, provided their employer conducts an assessment and is able to put into place adequate measures, to take account of any difficulties they may have.

2). Manual Handling Essentials Course
Who Will Benefit From this Course
Any personnel who are involved in manual handling and lifting at work, or have to train and assess those who are involved in manual handling in the workplace. If you are responsible in any way for the health and safety of people at work then you should attend this course.

Summary
Manual Handling of Inanimate Objects ensures that delegates hold an understanding of safe techniques to use when lifting and moving objects of varying size and weight, so as to avoid any injury to themselves or others. The training is designed for those who undertake manual handling activities in their working role and it can be customised so that delegates can experience handling objects which they would encounter in their workplace.
